ABOUT ME
I've been practising yoga for over 20 years and know the incredible benefits it brings to mind and body. I'm a busy, working mum-of-4 and so finding time on my mat is essential to bring some calm and peace to my life! I practise and lead Strala yoga: a unique system which combines the elements and philosophy of tai chi and qi qong alongside more traditional yoga movements.
I am a certified Strala guide. Strala is part of the global Yoga Alliance Professionals / Yoga Alliance UK.
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
FEEL GOOD FLOW
For everyone, no matter what age, fitness level or flexibility.
In this class you will focus on moving in harmony with your body, using your breath to open and expand your whole being. You will move with grace and coordination as you flow through the sequences. You will leave the class feeling calm and connected, and like you have just given yourself a treat!
GENTLE YOGA
For everyone, no matter what age, fitness level or flexibility. Particularly good for beginners, or those new to yoga.
In this class you will move at a slower pace, taking time to notice what is going on in your body. You will gain strength, flexibility and mobility while moving with your breath to achieve a total body feel-good session. You will leave feeling like you've had a great stretch while feeling super relaxed!
DYNAMIC FLOW
In this class we will move at a faster pace than Everyday Yoga, while building lots of strength as well as working on our flexibility and mobility. The sequences include elements of Pilates alongside yoga in order to create some fun and challenging flows. You will leave the class feeling energised and ready for the weekend!
TEEN YOGA - NEW!
A new class for teens! In this class you will have fun exploring yoga - working on flexibility, mobility and strength as well making sure that you use your breath in a mindful way to help you feel calm and relaxed.

Strala yoga is a way of being, moving and healing that helps people connect with how they feel, move in a way that feels good and handle challenge with ease. It is a philosophy that extends out into everyday life: when we feel good we are able to face life's challenges with ease.
Through practising Strala you will gain physical strength and mobility, mental clarity and you will feel fantastic!

IS STRALA YOGA SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS?
Absolutely! Strala yoga is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to seasoned yogis. This type of yoga encourages you to move within your own body's capabilities: there will always be options to take it easier or go a little deeper depending on what your body needs.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO CLASS?
Yoga mats are available to use at the studio, but you are very welcome to bring your own.
CAN I BOOK A PRIVATE CLASS?
Yes! Private individual classes or small group sessions are available on request. Please don't hesitate to be in touch.
CAN I DO YOGA IF I'M PREGNANT?
Yes! Yoga is a great form of exercise to do during pregnancy. Make sure you listen to your body and only move in a way that feels good to you.
